With the aim of updating knowledge on the most common methodology, techniques and processes in the field of research, the Institute of Biomedical Research of Lleida (IRBLleida) offers a day of training update for secondary school teachers in the area of science.

International Day of Women and Girls in Science
This International Day of Women and Girls in Science is an opportunity for all to take a stand for girls and women in science. In order to achieve full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls, and further achieve gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, the United Nations General Assembly adopted resolution A/RES/70/212 declaring 11 February as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
Family Research Day
Family members of IRBLleida professionals visited the center on December 21 and learned about the center's research. More than 40 people visited the different laboratories and scientific-technical services of IRBLleida.
