- 9:00 - 9:30.- National and international legislation on Biological risk and Bio-resources (RD664/97, WHO, ISO/BPL, UNE:EN, NIH, CDC,...).
- 9:30 - 10:30.- Risk assessment: Inspection check-list for research laboratories and animal facilities. Simplified assessment method (INSST)
- 10:30 - 11:00: ISO 35001:2019. "Biological risk management in laboratories and other related organisations". Biosafety Committee and Biological Risk Management Officer.
- 11:00 - 11:30.- Break.
- 11:30 - 13:00.- Biological Safety Cabinets: types, location, use, qualification and disinfection. Audiovisuals for support and discussion
Second day:
- 9:00 - 11:00.- Personal protective equipment. Masks, gloves, gowns, etc.: choice and use. Audiovisuals for support (1)
- 11:00 - 11:30.- Break.
- 11:30 - 14:30.- Decontamination and biocides (contact, air dispersion). Choice and uses. Transport of biological samples. - Management of biological waste. Management of biological spills.
