Clos Pons winery renews its collaboration with IRBLleida once again
To promote, develop, manage and spread biomedical research in Lleida
Clos Pons has renewed its collaboration agreement with the Biomedical Research Institute of Lleida (IRBLleida) this month.
Since 1945, the Pons family has developed the cultivation of olive groves and the generation of oil generation after generation. In 2005, the project for the recovery of the vineyards of Les Garrigues began with the creation of the Clos Pons winery and the production of Costers de Segre Denomination of Origin wines.
IRBLleida has about 150 collaborating companies that help to finance research projects and the recruitment of research personnel. The donations allow to promote the search in health and to impact on the quality of life of the population, also to improve the treatment of many diseases, to collaborate with the scientific community, with the patients and the citizenship and to harness Lleida and the territory.
