ADIMA is committed to biomedical research at IRBLleida
The Association of Women Intervented of Breast Cancer (ADIMA) of Lleida has signed for the first time a collaboration agreement with the Institute of Biomedical Research of Lleida (IRBLleida).
ADIMA is an association formed by women who have undergone breast cancer and have formed an entity to help other women in the same situation. Its objective is to support the people affected by breast cancer and their nearest relatives in order to overcome everyday problems and improve their quality of life after the intervention. ADIMA wants to contribute to the research activity. For this reason, it supports subjects related to the quality of life and the prevention of diseases of people.
The Institute of Biomedical Research is a pioneering center in the stimulation of biomedical research. Currently, it has about 150 collaborating companies that help to finance research projects and the recruitment of research personnel. The donations allow to promote the search in health and to impact on the quality of life of the population, also to improve the treatment of many diseases, to collaborate with the scientific community, with the patients and the citizenship and to harness Lleida and the territory.
