The Instituto de Salud Carlos III finances 22% of the projects presented by the IRBLleida to the Strategic Action in Health 2013-2016
The Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness has granted funding to 5 of the 22 projects presented with a total economic allocation of 584,430 €.
The Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII), through the 2017 call for the Strategic Action in Health from 2013 to 2016, will finance 5 health research projects of the Biomedical Research Institute of Lleida (IRBLleida) Dr. Pifarré Foundation. The projects with funding correspond to areas such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, spinal muscular atrophy, the progression of atheromatosis in patients with HIV, breast cancer or stroke. The final resolution of the ISCIII, which has been published this week, confirms that only 5 of the 22 projects presented will be financed, representing only 22% of the health research proposals submitted to the call for Strategic Action in Health 2013-2016.
