Three IRBLleida researchers participate in the Euromelanoma 2017 campaign on skin cancer

Lleida, May 23rd, 2017 Three specialists in dermatology of the University Hospital Arnau de Vilanova (HUAV), who are also researchers in cutaneous cancer of the Institute of Biomedical Research of Lleida (IRBLleida), will participate as volunteers in the 18th edition of the Euromelanoma campaign, to be held between the days 5 to 9 June in Spain. Throughout the week, dermatologists will perform skin checks on those who request it through the campaign website: http://euromelanoma.aedv.es/login-paciente The initiative is designed to promote awareness, prevention and early diagnosis of skin cancer in the European population. Throughout the spring, several specialists in dermatology from 33 different countries will carry out the same activity to achieve this goal: to carry out free skin examinations for the population at risk.
