Medical professionals and patients recognize the utility to ensure the monitoring of hypertensive patients BPControl application, a tool developed by researchers at the University of Lleida (UDL), the Institute for Biomedical Research Foundation Dr. Lleida Pifarré (IRBLleida), the University Hospital Arnau de Vilanova in Lleida (HUAV), the University Hospital Santa Maria de Lleida Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, ​​University of Barcelona (UB) and the Lleida company Hesoft Group.

The questionnaire was completed by 38 patients and three doctors from the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona and the results have been published in the journal Peer J Computer Science.
