The IRB Lleida held its annual meeting at the Monestir de les Avellanes

Lleida, July 18, 2016 This year, researchers at the Biomedical Research Institute of Lleida Foundation Dr. Pifarré (IRBLleida) gather at an annual meeting to share results and upgrade projects. From pre-doctoral researchers to researchers from different areas are consolidated at the Monestir de les Avellanes,18 and 19 July, at the Retreat 2016. The Retreat 2016 is developed in three working sessions where researchers present consolidated preliminary scientific results of biomedical projects in respiratory medicine, neurocognition, neuroscience, health care, nephrology and mathematical modeling, among others. Researchers predoctoral training also play a role in the 2016 Retreat, a scientific poster session parallel to the talks and has 20 posters. This activity younger researchers show the results of their work and take advantage of the conference to discuss the results with researchers statements. Among the posters participants are awarded the three best quality and scientific impact. The Retreat is an initiative of the Education Committee of IRBLleida to bring researchers from different areas of research and new approaches and ideas that arise innovative work. This year, the activity is relayed through the social network Twitter with the tag # retreat16.
