Presentation of the 1st edition of the Jordi Vilaginés Boix scholarships
These scholarships are made possible thanks to the JoViBo solidarity initiative, which allocates the profits generated in the Cancer Department of IRBLleida
Mariona Pont Gòdia and Bruno Brotons Morales were the winners of the first edition of the Jordi Vilaginés Boix scholarships, which aim to facilitate attendance at conferences, seminars and academic activities that enable younger researchers in the field of cancer at IRBLleida to expand their knowledge, share their findings and strengthen their professional networks.
The 1st edition of the Jordi Vilaginés Boix scholarships was awarded on 15 September. These scholarships are made possible thanks to the JoViBo solidarity initiative, which allocates the profits generated in the Cancer area of the IRBLleida. In this first edition, two scholarships were awarded for attendance at the 20th International Congress organised by the Spanish Association for Cancer Research (ASEICA).
The winners, who will present the results of their research at the congress, were:
- Mariona Pont Gòdia from the Cancer Biomarkers Research Group.
- Bruno Brotons Morales from the Molecular Oncology Group.

The two award winners with the family of Jordi Vilaginés Boix
