Contribution of €350 to raise funds for cancer research at IRBLleida
A solidarity initiative by staff working at the centre promotes the sale of bottles of wine created exclusively to mark the death of a family member
With the aim of transforming pain into hope and support for those fighting cancer, staff working at the Institute of Biomedical Research of Lleida (IRBLleida) have promoted the project www.jovibo.es, a solidarity wine that was created with the aim of raising funds for cancer research. A solidarity initiative that has already raised €350.
'The project seeks to raise funds for research and improvements in cancer treatments, offering an opportunity for more people to benefit from the advances in the fight against cancer,' explained Montse Joven, the driving force behind the project.
The family behind the initiative wants to convey a message of hope and strength, with an invitation to 'toast to life and join forces for a better future'. Following the death of a person close to them, the family has decided to promote this initiative and will give 100% of the profits to the research centre (€2 per bottle). The proceeds will go entirely to the cancer area of IRBLleida.
The wine can be purchased on the website www.jovibo.es
