With a speech entitled ‘The long road to TB elimination (from outbreaks to the cascade of infection care)’

The head of the Applied Epidemiology research group, Pere Godoy i Garcia, will be appointed academician of the Royal Academy of Medicine of Catalonia in an extraordinary session that will take place today, October 8, at the headquarters of the Royal Academy (c/ de Carme 47, Barcelona).

Pere Godoy i Garcia will be appointed academician with a speech entitled 'The long road to the elimination of tuberculosis (from outbreaks to the cascade of care for infection)'. The same session will also see the appointment of Andreu Segura i Benedicto, who will speak on 'Clinical and Public Health: singular and plural'. Godoy and Segura will be welcomed by Àngela Domínguez i Garcia and Rafael Manzanera y López.
