Nearly 200 people take part in the 2nd ‘Marxa IRBLleida, caminem per la investigació’
The money raised will be used to purchase small equipment for research
About 200 people have participated today, Sunday, 22 September, in the 2nd 'Marxa IRBLleida, caminem per la investigació'. The money raised from the registrations and donations with the bib number zero will be used to purchase small equipment to carry out research at the centre and maintain the current quality research.
The Institute of Biomedical Research of Lleida Dr. Pifarré Foundation (IRBLleida) has promoted this activity, organised by XT Sport Events by Xavi Thai, to raise funds for research. Two routes have been programmed, one of 5 km and one of 10 km, around the IRBLleida (Avda. Alcalde Rovira Roure, 80). Registration for this charitable initiative cost €10 and €5 for children under 12. In addition, those who could not attend were offered the possibility of collaborating with a dorsal zero, to facilitate their contribution.
