Ilerdent and IRBLleida commit to biomedical research

The renewal of the agreement that the dental group Ilerdent and the Institute for Biomedical Research of Lleida Dr. Pifarré Foundation (IRBLleida) have maintained for years, comes this 2024 accompanied by the celebration of the respective anniversaries.

The 20th anniversary of IRBLleida and the 30th anniversary of Ilerdent coincide at a time of full maturity of both entities 'with a consolidated IRBLleida, with a portfolio of important biomedical results and advances that will surely continue to grow with the numerous research projects underway' - said Miquel Gensana, manager of Ilerdent - 'And, for our part, a dental health group in expansion that this autumn will become more visible with the opening of the ground floor of the clinic, in the street of Sant Antoni. All this, with a Lleida brand'.

The agreement, which includes a financial endowment for the financing of the different lines of work of the IRBLleida, incorporates dental care agreements with benefits and treatments, subsidised and/or free of charge, for the workers of the institute itself, as well as the Arnau de Vilanova (HUAV) and Santa Maria de (Lleida) university hospitals; and also for the professionals of the Primary Care Centres.
