IRBLleida award for the best scientific research project 2024
In the framework of the 20th birthday of the Institute
As part of its 20th birthday, the Institute of Biomedical Research of Lleida announces the 'IRBLleida Award for the best scientific research project', which aims to recognise and reward talent and creativity in scientific research carried out by high school students in the province of Lleida. This initiative aims to encourage interest in science and promote research among local young people.
The award is open to high school students from all schools in the province of Lleida:
- Who have defended an original baccalaureate final research project related to any field of science during the 2023-2024 academic year.
- They must have obtained a mark equal to or higher than 8 in their final baccalaureate research project during the academic year 2023-2024.
The works submitted may be individual or collective and only one work may be submitted per school. A single prize of €500 will be awarded to the winning entry.
The Institute for Research in Biomedicine of Lleida is celebrating its 20th birthday this 2024. Since its foundation in 2004, the IRBLleida has been a benchmark in biomedical research, contributing to scientific and innovative advances to improve public health.
To commemorate this anniversary, the IRBLleida has prepared different events that will take place during 2024. The 20th birthday represents a moment of celebration and projection into the future for the IRBLleida to continue contributing to the welfare of society.
