The Alicia Cuello de Merigó Private Foundation funds the 2024-2025 talent recruitment and retention programme of the Institute for Research in Biomedicine of Lleida (IRBLleida), which consists of 6 grants of five months for the realization of experimental projects of end of master in research laboratories at IRBLleida.
The Alicia Cuello de Merigó Private Foundation makes a contribution that allows offering a monthly grant for five months for enrolled people a master's degree related to the field of biomedicine at a university in Spain or the European Union. The master's degree research project is carried out in one of the IRBLleida research groups that participate in the call.
The Alicia Cuello Foundation in Merigó is a non-profit foundation, in addition to being a collaborating entity of IRBLleida since 2017. One of its aims is to support research activity in the field of cancer and cardiovascular diseases, in order to improve quality of life and prevent people's diseases.
