The money raised in the first edition of the 'Marxa IRBLleida, caminem per la investigació' will make it possible to purchase small equipment to carry out research at the centre and maintain the current quality research. This was confirmed by the manager of IRBLleida, Eva López Truco, at the press conference to present the initiative.

The IRBLleida manager was accompanied by the Paeria de Lleida sports councillor, Jackson Quiñonez Vernaza, and the head of XT Sport Events by Xavi Thai, Xavier de la Fuente López.

The Paeria de Lleida Sports Councillor expressed the council's willingness to collaborate in this type of initiative and encouraged people to register for this first edition. For his part, the head of XT Sport Events by Xavi Thai, explained the route of the two routes that will visit an emblematic area such as the Arboretum.

The Institute of Biomedical Research of Lleida Dr. Pifarré Foundation (IRBLleida), in collaboration with the City Council of Lleida, has promoted this proposal that will take place on Sunday 22 October and will feature two routes, one of 5 km and one of 10 km, located around the IRBLleida (Avda. Alcalde Rovira Roure, 80). Registration is now open on the web iter.cat and the registration fee is €10 and €5 for children under 12 years old. In addition, those who are unable to attend will be able to collaborate with the dorsal zero.
