The Innovation Unit of the IRBLleida presents its new strategic plan to research personnel
About thirty people from the research field attended the information session
About thirty people from the Institute for Research in Biomedicine of Lleida (IRBLleida) have attended this week the internal briefing of the renewed Innovation Unit of the institute. The deputy director of the IRBLleida, Joan Sayós, welcomed the meeting in which the new strategic plan of the unit was presented by Anna Castilló, graduate in biotechnology from the University of Girona, and Judith Muñoz, graduate in economics from the University of Girona.
Commitment to an international approach, fostering cultural change, offering open innovation, maintaining the territorial commitment, and committing to sustainable and patient/citizen-oriented growth are the six strategic lines of the Innovation plan that has recently been promoted at IRBLleida.
The Innovation Unit will be responsible for detecting innovation in IRBLleida projects, connecting research and business networks and contributing to the economic sustainability of the institute, among others. "We aim to protect the effort and generate returns," said the two representatives of the Innovation Unit. All the updated information will soon be available on the IRBLleida website.
