The +Pec Proteomics research group at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine of Lleida (IRBLleida), led by researcher Xavier Gallart, was present on 17 January at the launch meeting and general assembly of the TECSAM network. A network whose mission is to accelerate the valorisation and transfer of research results in mental health and technology.
The RBLleida Innovation Unit was also present at this first official meeting, which favoured the generation of synergies and joint actions in the field of mental health transfer. The conference also provided the opportunity for some eighty attendees to learn about the Network's strategic lines and the 2023-25 roadmap.
The researcher Xavier Gallart presented the main lines of research and the most important projects being developed within his group. In the afternoon session, the General Assembly was held, with the exclusive participation of the main researchers of each group and an institutional representative for each member institution, where the debate was opened around issues of governance, activities and budget.
The mission of the TECSAM network is to accelerate the valorisation and transfer of research results in mental health and technology, with the vision that all people with mental health problems receive adequate, timely and high quality treatment. It is composed of 33 research groups. The network is funded by the Agency for the Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR).
