Visit of Paer, Miquel Pueyo, to the Biomedical Research Institute of Lleida
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor for Health, Montse Pifarré, held a meeting with the centre’s director, Diego Arango, and the manager, Joan Vives
The Paer, Miquel Pueyo, visited the headquarters of the Biomedical Research Institute of Lleida, where he got to know the facilities and projects that are carried out there.
Pueyo, who was accompanied by the Deputy Mayor for Health, Montse Pifarré, held a meeting with the director and manager of IRBLleida, Diego Arango and Joan Vives to get to know better the lines of work that are carried out and to explore possible ways of collaboration.
Later, the mayor was able to visit different spaces, such as laboratories, the Biobank, where the necessary samples for research are managed, and the exhibition in the corridors of the building with images of all the women who form part of the IRBLleida, which account for 60% of its workforce.
