The cooperative Unió renews for 3rd year with IRBLleida
To promote biomedical research
The cooperative Unió de Reus has renewed for the third year with IRBLleida to promote biomedical research in Lleida.
Unió was founded in 1942 in Reus. It is an entity that works to improve the living conditions of farmers and to promote the sustainability of the agricultural sector. Unión is a second-tier cooperative (a cooperative of cooperatives) which currently groups together 186 cooperatives from all over the Mediterranean Arc: Catalonia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, Castile-La Mancha, Murcia and the Valencian Country.
The contributions made by companies and entities that work with IRBLleida have the mission of promoting, developing, managing and disseminating biomedical research in Lleida.
Donations allow us to investigate major diseases such as cancer, stroke, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, pleura, aging, the nervous system, the cardiovascular system, disorders and respiratory infections, and mental disorders, among others, to provide better services to our population. At present, IRBLleida has the support of more than 160 companies and entities from Lleida, whose help the search for their groups has produced important results.
