The College of Veterinary Surgeons of Lleida renews its collaboration agreement with IRBLleida
In another example of its commitment to research
Once again, the College of Veterinarians of Lleida has renewed its collaboration agreement with the Institute of Biomedical Research of Lleida, Dr. Pifarré Foundation (IRBLleida), in yet another demonstration of its commitment to research, and even more so at this time in our lives.
The collaboration agreement was extended this November at a ceremony attended by the president of the COVLL, Carmen López, and the head of Promotion at the IRBLleida, Josep Maria Bosch, representing the director of the IRBLleida, Diego Arango.
As always, the College's contribution is aimed at promoting, developing and disseminating research in a year full of challenges, among which are technology transfer, internationalisation and attracting talent. The projects also include a new impulse for transversal projects, specialisation and corporate social responsibility.
Last year, IRBLleida produced 316 scientific publications and had an accumulated impact factor of 1,554.9. There were 28 new competitive research projects awarded, 144 active clinical trials with medicines and 75 observational studies, and it received 7 research awards.
IRBLleida now has more than 166 collaborating companies and entities, including the College of Veterinarians of Lleida.
