IRBLleida joins the Portal de la Recerca de Catalunya (PRC) to promote the researchers projects
36 universities and research centers are part of this initiative
The Lleida Biomedical Research Institute (IRBLleida) has joined the Portal de la Recerca de Catalunya (PRC). This fact will mean progress towards open access, and at the same time it will provide greater visibility to the researchers activities.
Currently 36 universities and research centers take part of the PRC, such as the Barcelona Center for Regenerative Medicine (CMRB), the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), the Institute of Research and Agro-Food Technology (IRTA), the Institut Català d'Arqueologia Clàssica (ICAC), the Fundació Institut Català de Recerca en Patrimoni Cultural (ICRPC), the Institut Català de Paleontologia (ICP), the Center de Visió per Computador (CVC) or the Institut d'Investigació Biomèdica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL).
The PRC collects and disseminates in a single space the results of the research produced in Catalan universities and research centers. Aimed at the local and international scientific community, and also at companies and funding organizations, the PRC encourages open access and is based on standard formats that facilitate the reuse of data. Its purpose, from a single place, is to visualize and disseminate among the international scientific community, as well as among companies, financing organizations and the general public, the research activity carried out in Catalonia (in terms of researchers, publications, theses, research groups and projects) to facilitate open access to scientific production.
This fact will mean progress towards open access and at the same time it will provide greater visibility to the researchers activities.
