Solidarity for the COVID-19 crisis
The UdL transfers spaces to the Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital, delivers material and presents volunteer personnel
The University of Lleida (UdL) has decided to cede spaces to the Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital (HUAV) to help in the management of the crisis caused by COVID-19, given the forecast that the health system "may collapse" the next few days, in the words of the government spokeswoman, Meritxell Budó. It is not the only show of solidarity of the UdL with health. The university has also provided material and transferred equipment from different centers. Meanwhile, faculty and students from the Faculties of Medicine and Nursing and Physiotherapy have made themselves available to the Territorial Health Management to reinforce services. Others do volunteer work.
Several research and scientific-technical services (SCT) groups of the IRBLleida, with professors from the UdL, have also made their material available to the health authorities.
The IRBLleida also delivered protection material to the Arnau de Vilanova de Lleida University Hospital
