15th Research Conference of the Catalan Institute of Health
"Breathing the future: challenges and research strategies in respiratory diseases"
On 24 October 2024, the University Hospital Dr. Josep Trueta and the Institute of Biomedical Research of Girona Dr. Josep Trueta (IDIBGI) will host the 15th Research Conference of the Catalan Institute of Health, which will bring together researchers representing the research institutes linked to the health centres of the organisation and which will allow to share knowledge about the leading research in our country, and how these disciplines can change future clinical practice. The theme of the conference is "Breathing the future: challenges and research strategies in respiratory diseases".
During the meeting, the names of the winners of the 2024 call for the different Research Career Awards will also be announced. These awards aim to distinguish the significant contribution to the development of research in health sciences, with the objective of promoting and recognising the high quality biomedical research, both preclinical and clinical, that is carried out at the institution and at the research institutes that are linked to it.
